Granashari Pridesword (Soperiaglavon)

The Soperiaglavon, or pridesword, is a typical single-handed sword from Granashar, the Volcanic Forge. It features a 70 cm long blade which is 6 cm at the widest point, and forged from Granashari steel. The blade is 5 mm thick and tapers down to 1.5 mm. It is an excellent thrusting and cutting weapon.
The guard is made from bronze, the grip has a wood core with a bronze design. Two orbs are part of the guard's design, which have a somewhat peculiar shape, causing some people to see a resemblance to a somewhat uncouth shape. This has lead to a number of interesting rumors surrounding this kind of weapon, such as that men can only receive it after achieving a certain amount of "conquests", and that women are incapable of wielding them at all. Some Granashari will say that the shape was not inspired by anatomy, and serves only weight distribution, but the rumors are persistent.

As anyone with some knowledge on blades can tell, this was inspired by the kidney or bollock dagger design. I like the design, as it is recognizeable and stands out. Not entirely happy with the result, the pommel cap is larger than I orginally wanted it to be, but that is due to modelling constraints. Still a good looking sword, I think.
