Lycia's Wand

Lycia Millwright is a protagonist in a worldbuilding project of mine, which is in part inspired by the Harry Potter universe. In this world, wands are crafted as blanks from wood and other material. When the right witch or wizard wizard chooses a wand, it will then take a form that fits the wielder.

The shape can be anything, from a classic wand to a scepter, staff or even spear. Sometimes this can be quite specific, such as the wand of Gregorius the Gregarious, whose wand famously took the shape of a chicken drumstick, but it can also be somewhat abstract, like in Lycia's case.

This wand, crafted from holly and cŵn annwn hair, took the shape of an 80 cm long scepter which somewhat resembles an oversized sowing needle. The reason for this is unclear. When charged or used for a particularly powerful spell, the wand's eye opens up and a golden structure appears.

The shapes of the two wand forms were generated by an AI that I used for inspiration. I then modelled the wands.
It is not supposed to be a sowing needle, I just liked the simple and elegant design.
