Bloodshadow was the legendary blade of the vampire lord Arakhul. The weapon was a two-handed sword with a total length of 163 cm. The blade was forged from ebony, a rare ore that can be forged like steel and will harden into a black, obsidian-like structure that is extremely hard and durable. Although it was 163 cm long, only the 92 cm above the secondary guard were sharpened.
Several flaps of parchment were wrapped around the unsharpened part of the blade and held there with a golden bracket. These contained the spells imbued into the blade.
The blade itself was only 3.5 cm (1.38") wide and designed mostly for thrusting rather than cutting.
The magic of the sword allowed Arakhul to drain the blood of stabbed victims through the blade, allowing the vampire to feed through the blade itself, rather than having to bite his victims. Bloodshadow could also store the blood energy (Sangrin) of several victims which Arakhul could draw from at any time he wished.

This was inspired by Skallagrim's video "Let's Mess Around with AI Generated Arms and Armor!". The thing took a lot of work, even though it may not look like it. I had the idea of wrapping the parchments around an unsharpened bit of the blade to give it magic powers. It's a change from the usual magic engravings. The quillons bent around the grip were quite difficult to create. I wanted to bend them around the grip, hoping they wouldn't be in the way when handing this thing. Not sure if that works, but ah well. I'm happy with how it looks though.
