Anzhu's Sword

Being trained as a blade dancer, Anzhu doesn't require armor, she relies on speed and agility to avoid an opponent's attacks, get past their weapons and defenses, and strike. Thus she needed a fast, agile blade. So she commissioned a custom short sword. While a sword of this design is an excellent thrusting weapon, but not much of a cutter, she can use her magic to charge it with elemental energy, causing her attacks to take on properties of these elements, or to simply make cuts more powerful.
The engraving in the blade is in the language of an ancient, likely extinct civilization, called the Antenir. She chose this simply for decorative purposes, as she is interested in Archaeology and specifically the Antenir. She chose the phrase due to her origin, being a child of light and darkness.

Anzhu is a character from a video game I'm working on. Although this sword only appears in the concept art, not in the game itself, I wanted to model it. Back then, I used something I saw on the web as reference for the sword, sadly I don't remember what it was. If anyone knows, please tell me.

Just plain colors for the metal this time. Wanted to make it look smooth and polished. I think it works quite well.

The grip is slightly thinner than what I'd usually use, but it was custom fitted for Anzhu and her hands are smaller than mine.

Finally managed to get an export to work for a change. So here's the sword in 3D.
