Solar Union Mjolnir-class Dreadnought

The Mjolnir-class Dreadnought is the largest type of warship in use by the Solar Union during the 28th century. It is a 1,497.5 meter (4913 foot) long behemoth of which only 5 were ever built, and only 3 ever saw active service.
The long, narrow ship utilizes a HiDUn (High Density Unstable) fusion reactor, which is the only type of reactor providing enough energy to power a ship of this size. Since a malfunction of this reactor can create massive amounts of radiation, it was positioned within the ship's drive assembly, as far as possible away from the command and crew area, which is located on the other side of the ship.
The Mjolnir comes equipped with two independent hangar bays, 56 photocaster turrets and 2 super-heavy photocaster turrets. A multi-purpose magazine and launcher assembly is attached below the crew quarters.
The large tube and spike assemblies are gravitic field coils and antennae. These allow the ship to project gravity wakes for maneuvering purposes and to reduce its own relative mass as it approaches relativistic speeds. If the ship becomes fast enough, the coils can reverse the gravitic field, allowing the ship to violently punch through the light barrier.
The most notable ship of this class was the SUSS O'Brien. The ship had been outfitted with 120 Archammer-class nuclear warheads which it used to bombard the surface of Lloth, erradicating the human colony as response of their declaration of independence.

Ah, feels good to work on a ship again for a change. Was playing around with using very simple greebles and used only cubes for the greebles here. This ship is part of my Invertigo worldbuilding project.
